Intercultural Learning Experiences
The following list of practitioners can bring workshops and intercultural learning into schools at a cost, and are available to work in Northumberland schools.
Recommendations should be sought from the companies and individuals directly, as we are unable to supply these.
To make contact with other arts and cultural groups, try visiting the North East Cultural Diversity Arts Forum.
The Lions of Zululand
Based in Durban, South Africa. Start the day with a concert of African dance and song for the whole school. They follow up the concert with four workshops: singing, culture and language, art and dance. Classes rotate and experience each workshop, all meet at the end of the school day to share what has been learned and see a final short performance.
